AGY doesnt look attractive from a pure analytical point of view which is the view you are taking. I can agree with you on that.

The thing with AGY is they have not done things the traditional way to satisfy an analytical analysis. The reason being, AGY are not a mining company, they are a liquid brine processing company, thus they don't need to prove up a massive resource to move forward. AGY just needed to know the brine was in the ground under their feet, the companies value doesnt lie in the ground. It lies in the process of turning whats under their feet into a product that can be sold to turn a profit. The ONLY number that matters at the end of the day, when everything is said and done is the nunber at the bottom of the P&L, NETT PROFIT. If you dont have profit you dont have a business and if you dont have a business guess where your share price will end up.

AGY put the process in front of proving a large resource on paper which I stand behind as getting the process right is what separates us from the crowd, its our USP. Resource is easy, we drill deeper and get bigger numbers, it just costs money which was better spent elsewhere up until now.

I am pro AGY and their non traditional way of thinking. We need more companies with the mind set of AGY.
