I had to scoff at the person who thought Canberra is cultured . The only culture that Canberra has is suburban or is hired from overseas galleries . It's dreadful imo . It looks like an commercial real estate park . Burley Griffin was a good architect but a terrible urban planner . (Melbourne has the best examples of Burley Griffin buildings) My wife and I a going to go to the Impressionist exhibition but are going only for a day because the place is so depressingly dull . It is a sham city that even John Howard didn't want to live in . He chose Sydney .
