Yes, someone mentioned that because the commentary was about "commercial" applications of SILEX technology, it might be that governments have developed similar military applications already. Which I think is well known or suspected, given that Israel has never publicly acknowledged having nuclear weapons.
However I have a strong suspicion that the GLE-Hitachi venture in the US was stalled because of weapons proliferation concerns. Centrifuge enrichment is less easily concealed, takes longer and is more easily monitored.
