Well I guess we'll wait with baited breath to see what happens on Monday.

That said as quite a few people have pointed out, whether Tesla comes with us or not is semi-irrelevant to the bigger picture. What it does do is gives us stability in knowing our product is placed, some good publicity and more or less knowing well in advance that construction on a Hydroxide plant can start as soon as any red tape hurdles are cleared with the cash upfront IF they come to the party.

If they don't, well spot prices on the open market for spodumene alone are likely to fetch us extremely high prices for our product as PLS's BMX auctions have continuously shown us, so one way or another it won't take long for us to get the money together, with which we can then potentially sell hydroxide on spot markets at likely a substantially higher price to them, so I'm personally expecting us to get over the line with Tesla.

They will be very aware of the fact that we can "go it alone" if necessary and that only a year or two's after-tax profits will pay for it all, nevermind a lender coming to the party to fund it and will not want our product going to their growing and increasingly competitive offerings of rival manufacturers like VW, Mercedes, BMW, Ford, Riven, Audi, Toyota, Hyundai, Mazda and numerous others. Nor will they want to shut themselves out of preferential pricing.

I guess we'll just have to crack open a beer, wait the weekend and see what happens. Could be an interesting weekend however if they do end up signing the deal and the news gets out before open on Monday though! Keep your eyes on the Twitter sphere perhaps!
