My hypothesis is (e), none of the above. As I see, they got more authoritarian Marists than the 100 they need to buy shares, knowing that a few would drop out of the scheme. So albeit a reduced number, they can still (with a mere 100 remaining shareholders who are party to the grift) waste time and resources by calling for such a ludicrous vote. This is what these sicko’s enjoy. Putting hardworking people to expense and inconvenience in order to feel superior and virtuous…. nothing more.
