He love’s to deflect by using churlish name calling when he goes off half cocked because he thinks he’s a bit smarter than the average bear.
Apparently he’s got letter’s after his name and I’m but a poor less educated fisherman so he tries the bombastic smarty pants approach to try and bait me/put me down.
An “air of superior intellect” only works if the person is actually intellectually competent or at least can apply some common sense to their argument
