It's hard to say if MHM would be able to do a trading halt unless they are in the loop for any decision or announcement to be made. It seems to me that even though MHM will feed the smelter, the decision of investing the smelter involves firstly the government as the smelter needs more than just silica. I guess Wacker and the goverment may make the annoucement before MHM could know about it. This is in my mind as MHM has kept tight lips on the progress of the smelter as it's not completely their business. They could only say from what they know, that is the silica has good quality and the long term contract still be under negotiation. Regarding the smelter, it's between Wacker and the govt.
