The funny thing imo is these FUDsters now pointing to the “npv” of the 2ktpa operation!?
We all know by now that the 2ktpa is merely a short-term interim step to maintain momentum and continue the de-risking, and part of the reason for that staged approach was the crappy market conditions not being conducive to raising $$ for the “full-scale” plant at the time.
Our actual target production is 12ktpa (and potentially beyond), with even our current resource believed to support that production level for over a decade.
Current estimates indicate we are circa 2 years from an operating 12ktpa plant, with construction potentially starting within the next 6 months.
So, why the distracting focus on only the 2ktpa operation?! No reason; just FUD.
Imo the 2ktpa is just a bonus step along the way, it will derisk production capability and place us in a better macro environment for funding the larger operation. It will also generate significant revenue in the meantime.
FUDsters claiming the company is only “worth” what the 2ktpa op will bring in are fooling no-one, and I’m sure they aren’t posting on other aspiring producers’ forums that those companies are worth zero because they will be producing nothing for the next 2 years!!??
The market is forward looking, and imo it will more properly wake up to AGY when we prove production and join the list of commercial suppliers. I note that some/many analysts who cover Li stocks fail to even list/cover AGY (the next asx Li chem producer!) which I’m sure will change with time.

In the meantime, those of us who recognise the value of being able to successfully produce BG chems from “low quality” brine, and understand that resource size is secondary in this space, continue to accumulate for when the market wakes up.
...and for those who claim “the market is always right”, was it right 2 years ago when we were 3c, or when ORE was sub $2, or when GXY was 70c? Absolutely not, and that’s why there was circa 10 bags up for grabs within 24 months!!
