Snuff, seems to me it's the Australian and the UK tabloids who are spreading the misinformation, not the IPCC.
I strongly suggest you read the links I posted in the second post in this thread to see the actual situation re the Amazon and Africa. The Australian seems to be hell bent on writing nonsense with nothing to back up its allegations. Maybe it gets its information from the UK blogs. It doesn't seem to pay any attention to what is actually written in the IPCC report or in climate science papers published in the scientific literature.
