Nobody is perfect, but they did badly underestimate and implement Kwale development against budget and timeline. A learning lesson one hopes, but also a lesson in how often feasibility studies are too optimistic.... especially in Africa though Oz is getting much the same reputation now.
I never said the high price of zircon was "impossible" back in 2020, just that I am weirdly risk adverse for a stock punter and thought covid world would be more a recession than boom (clearly I was very wrong). Prices have kept climbing for multiple reasons. maybe 10-12 major new projects in the next 5 years depending on how things pan out.... the future is getting harder to predict lol
