KD is a great artist but IMO it is hard to find a better rendition of this Cohen classic than Jeff Buckley's version from his first album "Grace". Alternative versions from "Live from the Bataclan" and "Live at Sin-e" are worth checking out if interested. I have been a great fan of John Cale for yonks (his recent tour downunder was awesome), "Fragments of a Rainy Season" is one of his better albums (has Hallelujih on it). Haven't heard Rufus Wainwright's version.
