I'll tell you a true story:

I & a relative bought EXT at 3.5c around 6-7 years ago!

years passed & SP gone up to 10c! my relative sold his shares with 300% profit.

he was laughing at me because I kept holding waiting for the miracle to happen...he kept telling me that what he made of his sell was always going to be better than any gain that I would get from waiting IF EVER I would get anything!!

many things happened to that company including making each 10 shares = 1 share.

2 years after, what was an initial investment for me that is worth 3.5c (or 35c after the new shares structure) I sold recently at $8.15!!!

a logical man can say that if I sold early then my investment would've got me better return....I laugh back & say that no logical return could have given 8 folds in 2 years or we calculate from beginign 24 folds in 6 years.

I hold PEN shares & have substantial amount in it & do see the 10c coming but it is a totally different company with totally different strategy, different age of the business, different nature projects & everything is totally different.

in my portfolio, I wouldn't put PEN & AAR under the same category by any chance even that there were similar movements up & down but in nature both are very different!

I'm not comparing AAR to EXT because they're 2 different companies but my message here is that whoever can get hold of a SERIOUS GOOD POTENTIAL COMPANY has made the money already by realising the potential & buying at the right time.

patience & self dicepline is must if you want to see massive success! in my own experience, I never sell at the price that would give me good money, I always sell at a certain fundemental milestone that I see feasible & achievable!

that person gets paid usually in a very long time but eventually if/when it pays out, they'll be very pleased with results!

I see AAR now in the right age, right market mood (fingers crossed we don't see another financial crisis!!) & right projects.
