In order for mother earth to survive the holocaust of population explosion you need people who are adaptable and capable of going against group think. In this way future generations will question everything and anything with a skeptical mind and come up with alternatives never imagined, this is in the best interest of the elite population.

Don't forget only because they are termed elite, with money, doesn't mean they have the capacity to think! In fact most elitists are psychopaths that are isolated from basic survival instinct. They need others to think for them, otherwise they would systematically devour each other to be top dog.
