The broker notes "strong" 1H sales growth in CSL Behring, with H1N1 vaccine sales also highly profitable. The company also reiterated its FY10 guidance, which leaves it at the top end of consensus.
FY10-11 EPS is lifted by 11% and 6% to reflect the stronger H1N1 profits and a stronger CSL Behring performance. The broker thinks the stock looks attractively priced and sees upside risk to its EPS forecasts coming from price increases over the medium term, better than expected Privigen conversion, the possibility of further share buybacks and a stronger USD than Citi currently expects.
With the broker thinking that CSL offers one of the best opportunities for outperformance in the sector, the Buy7 call is maintained, while the target price rises to $40.53 (from $37.77).
