It's interesting/ironic, I've always thought gold is a good hedge against inflation. The gold price has done nothing, and the miners are getting smashed with increase in opex & capex.
I brought into EVN about a year ago because I guessed (correctly) there was going to be inflationary pressure around the corner, I'm down about 50%
