GregNZ, wonder no more. I really think you already know why these threads are started.

The posters (NOT all) of threads such as:
*big buying
*wow
*breadkout

and so on, are rampers and are in the stock to make a cent or two per share. That is their way of making money and I am not criticising it. It is, however, sad to see some holders fall for the trap and either rush in to buy or sell based on the content of these posts.

I am particularly wary of posters who use charts to substantiate their posts. In my opinion, charts are only useful for predicting the past. Sorry chartists! I am just stating what I truly believe - and that is what this forum is supposed to be about.

Stick to the fundamentals. Artificially trigered day to day price movements (up or down) matter little in the scheme of things.
