I have driven in the country in every state and in every major city in Australia for over 30 years so I very much doubt that you are in a position to give advice to me.

Rules are their for the protection of evryone and to simply say apply commeon sense and break the rules is plain stupidity and if that sort of advice was followed we would have more deaths not fewer.

If you don't like the road rules then fine...simply stay off the roads because those that follow the rules would have no idea about how you would apply your common sense.

Why some posters on this thread want to make it truck drivers vs car drivers is too silly for words.

Do Australia a favour and hand your license back in. Although the way you choose to flout the rules you would probably drive without one.

What would make you ring those numbers whilst driving? Not a lot of common sense there lol
