Thats what I try to do, got some strategies based on volume, rule of thumb is that when volume increases with no announcement, its usually a sign something is brewing, I tinker with different settings, like 3-4 days of consecutive volume increases. But without any automation, good rule is just wait for an above average day of volume thats positive, so a positive day of 33 million+ shares traded, and that will signal a good entry.
The last time that happeend was 11/7. So then you get in the next days open, which was 23cents:
And then you get out when volume drops under average again, which was 19th August, so get out the next day on 20th, which was 27cents. 17% in 7 trading days. Hope that helps.
