I very much doubt you have ever been in the bush, let alone driven in it.Most of the modern roads are too steeply banked for you to get off the left hand side, and there is more than one farm out there with gates along the road.In the Hinterland where I live now there are very few places where you can get a bicycle off to the left, let alone a car or truck, and there are, strangely enough, quite a few people who live along these roads and turn in at their driveway. If you can fit past on their left you do so otherwise you come to a stop until they complete their turn. This is on 80 and 100 km roads.
.Fortunately that cowboy doesn't drive up here.He did a double pass ie passed a car that was passing a car. Most truckies are the safest drivers on the road, but there is no shortage of cowboys like this fellow. If you don't believe me,just drive a truck from the Sunshine Coast to Maryborough.A real eyeopener with their 90 km speed zones.
