you are dreaming if you think someone is going to pay double he market cap of a company let alone 2.5x.... i couldnt think of a take over in the past decade that was 100% premium to the market cap
we need the SP higher if you want a 'decent offer' and you need the SP to be improving 'overall' to get well above odds offer that is not the case at this point in time
