Exactly. There has been no confirmed product suggestion yet for the technology. Surely there's plenty of uses, but, who, if anyone on the market has been approached for expressions of interest, what will this prospective lab-on-a-chip be testing for, and what is the success rate. We need 1) a use, 2) a prototype, 3) test results, 4) industry approved/accepted test results to whatever standard, and then 5) manufacturing.
Lots of steps, we are certainly years away from manufacturing.
