Move the decimal point over and start to run some numbers at say $10-$15 a test made in house on a test that has much less components and processes to manufacture.

If the current trial results from Melbourne align with current Euro trials it will also be shown that Eugeni is one of if not the most accurate test in the world, perfect for hospitals, aged care, surgeries, submarines, naval vessels, the entire military.

I don’t know about you but I like the idea of our doctors, nurses and our military to be in the best health possible. If those that put their necks out to protect us are sick themselves it’s not a very clever situation.

So far Melbourne trial appears to have shown Eugeni is as accurate as PCR testing up to PCR Cycle 25 at 100% sensitivity and 100% specificity with self sampling.

It is also a tenth of the cost of PCR and in a surge time 100 times faster…15min Eugeni test vs PCR we have all seen and experienced can be days in a large outbreak….not sure I want that situation again much either.

Then add in a flu/covid multi test when it’s completed early next year ready for next winter here inAustralia, NZ, PNG, Pacific islands and maybe change your calculation up a little per test as now your checking both ailments. If they can replicate covid results with flu which I firmly believe they will then it will also be one of the most accurate.

Mass home testing and surge testing will still be needed at times of flu and covid and whatever else pops up next.
Hospiltal, surgery, high risk remote communities and military, need and are already using foreign made lower accuracy analogue testing now.

However if you can buy a homegrown solution for the same money that will create jobs here and is more accurate, captures data and records results for tracking prevalence of any particular ailment you are testing to a digital base why would you use the alternative.

This will assist to prevent Long covid and illness in areas without local medical care, be available for surge capacity and is a cheaper alternative to mass PCR.

The cost savings to health system would also be massive if many of the respiratory and highly infectious illnesses can be better controlled.

Antivirals become better dispensed and earlier to assist health outcomes, and when PCT testing comes on board antibiotic administration is also better facilitated.

Ellume deal is not going to be the company maker when the company can do it itself, the only ingredient missing is government support to guarantee a minimum number of tests they will purchase. The private sector, remote mines, travel sector, cruise market and general public that are concerned about covid/flu can purchase any left over.

Agree with your thoughts of knowing the value of the tech though, let’s hope any battery interests have this at the forefront of any decisions.
