re your statement:
"If the ASX has formed the view these announcements aren't material, the onus is on investors to do their own research and analysis."

Surely the onus should be on the Company to inform its owners = the shareholders????. If shareholders are busy people they should not have to ferret out the internet to find out what their company is doing and what contracts it has been awarded and not awarded. The onus should be on the Company to keep its shareholders informed. Just because the ASX does not see it as material does not relinquish responsible management of the Company to keep shareholders informed.
