I have been very sympathetic towards Ukrainian people since 2014, because that’s when the civil war in that country started, if I remember correctly. I have said many times before that I don’t approve of military interventions of any kind, but I also don’t leave in a ‘ fairy land’ where houses are built from lollies, rivers run with chocolate and the sky is covered with rainbows.

Nobody can change the reality, and the reality is that people are dying every day defending their country. Putin will not leave, and Ukrainians may never force him to leave. What to do now is the question? More it takes to answer that question, more people will die and more destruction will happen. Asking for Putin to leave is morally the only right thing to do, but morality and reality are sometimes poles apart.
