re: Ann: Telstra's Half Year Results Anno... The whole company is only worth $38 bill. It made $12 bill in revenue for the half, so it has potential imo.
What management should do:
- Let govt build them the new network.
- Embark on major cost cutting.
- Become a simple NBN and wireless seller, throw out all the other nonsense including IT spend.
- treat customers nicely.
Revenue 12 bill for the half. If they can keep more of that, it can be a winner.
I don't know about other people but for me I'd much rather support an Australia company rather than Optus(Singapore) or Vodaphone(UK). I can't understand why they don't play the buy Australian card.
