I'll be the counterpoint to your view and say that we haven't seen the bottom for stock markets yet, especially not for the SPX and NASDAQ. I also think it is going to be years before we see the SPX hit 4800 again. I have a technical target for the SPX of 3200 but it could go lower. Things won't be as dramatic for the XAO. We have already retraced to below our pre-covid high, whereas the SPX is still about 15% above its pre-COVID high.

I also think that the copper price is undecided as to whether it has another leg down.

I intend to hold the HCH I have accumulated over the past couple of months on the basis that it is a potential ten bagger from my average buy price, but I still see a triple bottom @45c as a possibility.

It's Labor Day in the USA, the end of the summer vacation (like out Australia Day holiday). At some point I think that equity market commentary stops obsessing about the Fed. Bond rates started going up months before the Fed started raising official rates. At some point the equity markets will start to reflect the real economic outlook. All IMHO.
