pintahoo, I for one thank you for the clarity in your well reasoned post, indeed something very strange must be going on for it not to get a whole bunch of 'thumbs up'.

1) I'm sure by 'dark days' you didn't mean TEOTWAWKI, and share your angst that such a twist could be made.....my goodness if all the 'dark days' we have had both personally and as a collective community were always spun so negatively it would surely be a sorry sorry world......

ahhh, you have 2 products or entities, 1 real and tangible and 1 not real or tangible (by admission in the prospectus's of the purveyors of the unreal and non-tangible)......and it is suggested that they should be both scrutinised equally and serially.....LOL, how about we scrutise the real stuff after we have completed the scrutinisation of the 'substitute'.......

all these fakes and not a single news item about them, yet substantial circumstantial evidence that certain ETF gold may be fake and it's not a problem......strange logic indeed.

4) gold bullion is bad, gold miners are bad, gold nuggets are bad, gold jewellery is bad, gold is just generally bad.......except the gold ETF's they are alone good.......one really needs no say anymore about the possible motivations that may be associated with such a stance of gold.

5) be smart, buy the physical at paper prices, the opportunity to do this will soon disappear......and buy the miners on the low volume down days.....the true holders are not the ones selling......
