I think you might be misunderstanding what is meant by larger and smaller ships here. BCI has presented that the transshipping operation will allow it load Capesize vessels. No other Australian salt operation loads capsize vessels. What they use are "smaller" ships, like Handymax or Supramax. Those are perfectly fine ocean-going vessels. So I wonder what made my comment "unbelievable"...?
