This is sounding like a repeat of Geodynamics and its Cooper Basin project. EGS in basement granite to 5 km deep.. If this is all they have then it's a high-cost, low-grade resource that will not compete with a decent size solar farm..
When are they going to get a real geothermal resource geologist to advise them?
If they really want to do geothermal there are perfectly good volcano-hosted resources just offshore, with compelling local markets - go back to the best parts of the old Geodynamics projects, not the worst...
