Also, we are facing steep inflation generally which no Guvnut will likely be able to do much about - because this time it is indeed different. No one can or will be able to do much about it because they have stuffed the system up. And, we in the West grossly mismanaged the Ukraine issue (and are still at it if you take the UK PM-elect at her word). To compound matters silver is now behaving more as an industrial metal led by green tech demand etc and facing supply constraints for various reasons. So yes, look forward to a significant rise in POS and a narrowing of Au:Ag ratio in the near future.

BTW, Silv is right re food - famine definitely on the cards and I have been stocking up carefully since he raised this as a big threat. At the very least I will have stocked up at lower prices. Thanks Silv!
