yes, they can be confusing initially but they are also very simple when you get it. Just a suggestion but, wouldn't it be better to understand them before buying? Not trying to be cheeky but that question could safe you money in future.
From previous: The price you pay for conversion per share is called the strike price.
so... regardless of what you paid for the options, you will pay whatever the strike price is to convert to FPO (fully paid ordinary) shares.
If you convert 1000 options and the strike price is 2c then the price you pay equals 1000x2c.
Your all in cost of course would be the price you paid per option plus the price you paid for conversion. If you paid 3c/option and bought 1000 options then your options cost you 3000c and with above, conversion cost 2000c so all in cost for 1000 FPO shares via option equals 5000c or 5c/share.
