New round of LEED funding opens in WA
Tue, 16 February 2010
The Western Australian Government is offering $10 million worth of funding for the development of sustainable, low-emissions technology.
Businesses, universities, government and non-government organisations have been invited to apply for the funding, which will need to be matched with $3 for every $1.
The funding is part of the Western Australian State Government's Low Emissions Energy Development (LEED) Fund.
Projects that have received LEED grants under a previous round of funding include Carnegie?s Garden Island wave energy project, and the designing, building and testing of an oil mallee harvesting machine.
Applications should be submitted by 5pm on 24 March, via the Department of Environment and Conservation website.
