Some thoughts. Spacelink = Spectrum + IP + $400 Million(ish). Say EOS wants to create a JV and retain 50% share. They can do that with no cash outlay if the Spectrum + IP = $400 Million. I suspect they tried to market something like this but could not find a buyer (can't prove this other than the fact that it didn't happen). So EOS said "New Deal"! EOS to spend (say) $50 Million. Equation becomes:
At the time EOS is trying to sell 50% of Spacelink for $350 Million (remainder of the cash outlay) the market values the whole of the company at $110 Million.
Numbers no longer add up!!!
