Many of you out there in Speculation land no doubt consider me a total tosser due to my negativity. I truly understand that sentiment. I have tried to inform the speculators about what is fact and what is fiction. I wish that I could take back the time that I have spent on EOS and instead spent it on something more productive.
To put the following into perspective, I wrote the following comment on September 1st - even when all the people who apparently knew the business, actually thought (and were misled by management) that the Defence side of the business, was indeed a shining beacon in the night. Most thought that Defence was the-go-to segment and was rock solid. Some of you said - forget spacelink and focus on your strengths - DEFENCE. I do believe that the Strategic review even highlighted that point.
This is what I wrote on 1st September;
"The problem is that the people who are ultra positive and defend the company, are as obstructive as the company itself. I have a message to thosepeople...If you remove Spacelink and hedge your bets on a "perceived" profitable defence businessthen you should start preparing for the inevitable. I'm disappointed that the 4D wasn't released. I wanted to see the audited results. Defence is gutted, along with space."
Now this statement from the 4D released today;
"This disappointing revenue result was driven by the Defence segment ($40.4m compared to 2021: $83.6m - 52% decrease)"
I DO NOT make stuff up. For all the people jumping into this today...best wishes. For all those saying it can't go lower, yes it can. If you think that it's now de-risked, you're wrong.
This is not over by a long shot.
