So you think UK sent their troops to defend India??

Did you not understand what I said? Indian troops were sent to fight FOR the UK. In fact WE declared war on Germany on behalf of India without even asking the Indians!

What you COULD say is that the INDIAN ARMY was defending India. But because India was part of the Bristish Empire the Indian Army was part of British Empire's forces (and one of the most important part of such forces given their numbers and bravery) so it was actually British Forces that were defending India. BUTTTTTT, these forces were ethnic Indians.
