You didn't get anything for free first of all, so you took risk when investing... IMO.
Second, unless you sold there is nothing in your pocket except dream that you got something... IMO.
Third day traders or swing traders and directors made money today as first two category sold and made profit in cash and third one got millions of dollar worth shares for free (without taking money out of their pocket to buy)... in my opinion... so if you are any of this category then sure you made money if you exited with profit... else you got nothing in my opinion... !... !
