I would like to see dry storage - out in the boon docks nowhere near water. As far as I know, only fresh waste needs to be stored underwater - and, that's only for a few years. Then - dry, geologically stable ground is the optimum
Australia has that to burn. With the enormous rent/fees that can be charged for permanent storage, it's ridiculous that Australia hasn't provided the permanent storage - the world is screaming out for it.
