The approval process in Australia which is now influenced by the Greens, demonstrates why the Chinese economy has passed us by so quickly. The CCP makes decisions based on the welfare of its people and what is good for China. Our polititians disregard national welfare and make decisions based on what makes them as individuals feel righteous. If they were serious about helping Ukraine by supplying energy to Europe, boosting the Australian economy and lowering electricity prices, they would be encouraging coal production. Unfortunately, the buck stops with the mentality of the electorate, so we get the government we deserve.
