Not long ago we were talking about dividends vs. Share buy back. At the time i was firmly in the buy back camp as prices were low $3. However looking at current trend and where this is going by december a share buy back could be incredibly expensive. If we are at a very conservative $5 by the buy back, $500 mill would only buy 100 mill shares or ~3.3% of floating. Would this really make and significant difference to the stock/company or would that money be better spent on M/A. Still dont really like the idea of a dividend until they are fully franked so im curious as to what they will do with ALL THAT CASH!
