I'm comparing LTR with the lithium producers; Albemarle (US), PLS and AKE (the Australians).
The chart below is from the April highs to present time.
LTR has lost 17% since then while he others made huge gains and were recording ATH just recently.
LTR is the largest developer who is going to be the next largest producer in the world.
I'm not sure why the funds and instos can't see LTR's potential and buy big, and leave the shorters behind with large losses. That is a puzzle for me as LTR's potential is obvious. (it was even obvious to me when it was 10c only).
While funds and instos are sleeping deep, the shorters are doing great job and holding LTR back. I can see from the trades that the shorters should be even losing money, but they are still doing their job, and shorting. That's the interesting point.
Who is happily losing money and holding LTR from moving up?
The trades in LTR is very suspicious. It's clear that some holds back LTR.Is it the shorters?Or is it a big company (anyone from the lithium supply chain, upstream or downstream) which want to build a big stake in LTR? Or a combination of both?
After this much holding back in sp of LTR, I'm seriously thinking that we might see a takeover offer around $3, which is definitely going to be rejected by our management. I would never sell my shares anything less than $6 at this point.
When I look at the long term chart (below) of LTR everything looks perfect.
RSI is at a very nice position (the shorters stop it going into oversold zone, it's goin parallel) and MACD is in upward motion.
