    I took the chance to get out of another REIT that I had been regretting with a smallish profit. Last weeks dip allowed me to double my holding here at what hopefully will prove to be the low- for a while. And the dividends keep coming in.

    REIT- because of their structure are at an obvious risk when interest rates rise. On the other hand, they have leverage in a higher inflation environment. Leveraged real assets appreciate with inflation- all else being equal- in the long run.

    Yes, the SP could go down if the macro goes pear shaped. The Australian economy is well positioned for any sort of global recovery.
