The Dubbo go-ahead might have much more to do with Hyundai and its plans than anything else.... imo.
The effort to build wind turbines has the wind behind its back (pun intended). Hyundai has a major subsidiary company dedicated to the design and build of offshore wind farms. Its CEO met a few months ago with Biden... it's a reasonable guess the deal will be for Hyundai to set up a factory in the US and (if so) they will be needing a metallisation plant there. (Likewise if Hyundai plans to offer wind farms in the EU). The success of this first one in SK demonstrates the competence of ASM.
When the financials are finally sorted I believe they will be very favourable for ASM... simply because ASM will become an integral part of Hyundai's plans.... imo.
