I did not see the program but I am sure that children being used is not acceptable.

The above said, I suspect that we will see more and more stories like this from countries that we have invaded or might like to invade. This form of story has always been popular with the powers to-be because it makes us feel good about invading. We can sit back and say that it was all for the kids or the women forced to wear masks or to free the oppressed.

In the end nothing much will be done for the children but the powers to-be will have garnered more support for their wars.
