@OldGeo that was the "line" the JV took.
Their motivations may have been many, including the permit conditions requiring them to drill a certain number of "exploration" wells within a specified timeframe. Key thing for people to consider is, that as far as exploration wells go...NED-1 is a bit like shooting fish in a barrel.
