    Oh well. I will have to adapt my investing/trading style after some 30+ years of trading.

    To (me) "free caried" means that the stock I hold does not owe me anything. IE, I have traded or sold stock I hold in a particular company which leaves the balance of my holdings at a nil cost.

    Each to their own!
