What is important is the common usage of the term in the context it is written on this forum and, thus, defines its meaning. Even if it is only a slang term endemic to Hot Copper. And to that, BlueBalls and Tweets are correct in their definitions.
"Free carried" was a term alien to me until I started reading the Hot Copper forum and it took a while for me to figure it out as well. However, I would further add that in my definition I would include all expenses incurred, including any future tax liabilities.
