Hi Baz, I think thats a bit unfair as my recollection is that at some stage Dave pointed out why he gave more credibility to Morgan than other polls and that is that Morgan does face to face polling not just telephone polls. Hugh Morgan himself has made reference to this aspect in that phone polling tends to give a result skewed in favour of the Coalition.

Morgan also does telephone polling and those results tend to show a higher vote for the Coalition than the face to face poll. So it does not follow that because one considers one form of polling to be superior to the other the other should be discounted as being entirely unreliable. Newspoll along with the Galaxy poll were pretty spot on when it came to the 2007 election result and I have a healthy respect for them as pollsters.

Dave is one of a very few posters now providing a contrary view and debate to the myriad of posters who are anti-Labor on this forum and I would think you would welcome his participation otherwise its just a talkfest for the anti labor case.
