hi Gwaihir
With regards to a possible takeover... well I cannot see Ganfeng giving up ownership of this wonderful project. Nor do I see many LLL shareholders selling out anytime soon especially if it is widely believed that forecasts of the SP hitting $1.90 come true. Given PLS is heading for $5.00 per share, $1.90 per LLL share seems reasonable if demand far exceeds supply.
If anything I think that Ganfeng would have to consider refining the product further on site to reduce what must be an enormous cost in freight to the nearest port which are all circa 1000kms away. If they were to refine the current product on site, the savings in freight and logistics would be enormous. There is a further reason to consider refining at site and that is to reduce the carbon emissions for both road and sea transport. That will become a huge consideration in the next decade and quite rightly so. It is crazy to transport a product with 94% waste.
Cheers W2
