CHARLIE AITKEN: Well the stock went through $3 today. It traded $2.99, I think, on the low point. Stock was ex-dividend 14 cents, plus the franking credits. I wouldn't be surprised to see Telstra trade somewhere between $2.80 and $2.90 over the next week.
There is a bit of a rumour that the Future Fund might sell some more shares; that's something to keep an eye on. But, I think, look, really Telstra was being bought for dividend support. Now the dividend's gone, it should just lull around while we wait for some news on the NBN.
