I don't think we live in a capitalist society anymore
I think we live in a corporatist society where governments are lobbied to represent the interests of corporations rather than the interests of its citizens.

About $350 million was spent just on Pharma lobbying in 2021 - that represents quire a bit of influence and payback

We used to have governments that controlled corporations but now we have corporations that control governments. The last 30 months has certainly highlighted this new paradigm and how effective the lobbying results of some Pharma companies became - not only in the USA but most of the western ''democratic'' world

The real elite are the corporations and the people that control them and I think that with King Chuckles on the throne we will see a more invigorated push towards a reset.
